Lever Wine Opener

While we were sitting around and waiting for the new and improved mouse trap, someone quietly invented a very improved wine opener. This gadget has been around a while but it it still one of my favorites. How many times has your old cork screw left half of the cork in the bottle or worse yet...caused the cork to break into a million little pieces necessitating you to "sift' the cork out of the wine to make it drinkable? The lever works quickly and easily..you don't even break a sweat. It is available in many price ranges from $14.99 all the way up yo $199.99. You really don't need to spend more than $30-$40 in my opinion. Keep an eye out at TJ Maxx or Marshalls. They turn up there often. Just stay away from a plastic lever opener... they will break rather easily. Probably the heavier the better.

As you can see by my photo, I am a pet lover. We have two puppylicous bichons who are as much a part of our family as our "scruffy" kids. They really understand customer service and still want to make flying an adventure.
